A week or so ago I got a contact from Mashable asking for permission to use one of my images in an article focusing on iPhoneography and silhouettes. The contact came via Flickr – a timely reminder of just how important Flickr is for images to be discovered and published. I have to admit that for much of this year I’ve put Flickr to one side mainly because I dislike posting and not taking the time to comment.

Maybe I should be more selfish – or maybe now that I’ve discovered Flipboard my ability to view tailored media from multiple social channels will improve. I hope the latter. Certainly, I need to upload a large back-catalogue of images to Flickr.
