I was incredibly thankful and humbled when my friends in the mobile photography community nominated me recently for an AMPt Selections Feature. I was quite shocked when Todd from the AMPt Leadership Team contacted me to say I was one of a small number to be featured. I am honoured.
I am delighted that my iPhoneography article ‘iPhone photography tutorial – { circling the drain }’ has been republished by The App Whisperer.
Ready for a really obvious statement? “Happy accidents are more likely to occur if you take more iPhoneography images”. Wise words eh! I think there’s more to it than that though.

iPhoneography tutorial using motion blur, cloning and blending layers with masks to create a selectively re-coloured painterly vintage style iPhone image.
Together with 59 other mobile photographers I am exhibiting 5 images at Exposure in Columbus Ohio. I am amongst 30 mobile photographers representing the rest of the world. A huge honour to exhibit alongside so many friends around the globe.

iPhone photography full length portrait tutorial showing reflection, texture, layers, masking, blending and framing processes. Also includes a bonus edit and small collection with the official Polaroid app.
I was honoured that my iPhoneography image ‘Rene’ was selected to be featured by iPhone Photography School in their recent portrait mobile image contest on Instagram.
I’m a big fan of Mobiography magazine so when Andy approached me I was delighted to allow him to bring my freelensing tutorial back from the archives. This edition is an AMPt (Advanced Mobile Photography Team) special showcase and I was honoured to be one of the AMPt appointed judges.
‘Selfie’ was selected as the word of the year 2013 by the Oxford English Dictionary (OED). I did a rare selfie to commemorate . Honoured that my image was featured by NEM.
