Most of the time the joy of iPhone photography is the result. The destination. It’s not about how I got there or how many apps I used (I’m still trying keep the number of apps I use in each iPhoneography work to a minimum). This is an example.
Fog is my favourite weather for creating atmospheric mobile photography. Mother nature does all the work for me. All I need to do is find an interesting composition and frame it. When she doesn’t produce fog, I try to mimic her work.
Floral still life iPhone Photography work in a textured painterly style. Very often I build a grungy texture in to my iPhoneography but with this one I decided to take a slightly different route and create something with a more minimalist clean feel.
iPhone photography and social media very often go hand in hand. Many iPhoneography apps have built in social sharing functionality. Focusing on Instagram, I explain my partly manual and partly automated social sharing process.
I am lucky enough to be able to do the school run occasionally. It can be a beautiful time of the day with a magical quality of light. I generally shy away from photographing near the school environment, even discreetly using iPhone photography. I finally got a suitable opportunity.
A low edit iPhone photography image. Not my normal style at first glance but there is something in this image that I constantly try to capture or create – atmosphere. In this case all I needed to do was capture it and then edit it in a sympathetic manner.
Texture blended floral iPhoneography image of a Calfornian Poppy. Purposely quite a low edit. I wanted to create a textured background but with that amazing bright tangerine orange colour, I wanted to maintain as much vibrancy and clarity as possible in the flower.
